I don't know whether to laugh or to cry.

'Don't worry about political corruption': Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's bizarre remarks Hyderabad: "Excess money with the politicians comes back into the system during elections... Don't think too much about political corruption." That's not a skeptic social scientist commenting on the sorry state of Indian polity plagued by self-seeking politicians and their corruption. Those bizarre remarks were made by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to the civil services probationers at an event in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Addressing the budding bureaucrats, Mr Reddy said, "I am not saying encourage political corruption. Honesty should be there... There are other forms of corruptions that we must be very careful about, which does not come back into the system.'' The remarks may be candid, many might say. But coming at a time when the political parties are making every effort to escape the ambit of the Right to Information Act, it reflects the mindset that guides India's ruling class. Incidentally, Mr Reddy's remarks were made to an audience which may come in conflict with the same ruling class once they are given the task of implementing India's laws. Jayaprakash Narayan, an IAS-officer-turned-politician, says Mr Reddy may have made an off-the-cuff remark but it is unfortunate. "There is no question that phenomenal and illegitimate expenditure in politics is fuelling corruption in politics and in bureaucracy. It is the politician who is elected to change the way things are. The bureaucrat is only there to implement what is laid down,'' he says. If Mr Reddy was trying to drive home the message that the political class in India is a holy cow, he perhaps chose the wrong audience to make that point. http://www.ndtv.com/article/south/don-t-worry-about-political-corruption-andhra-pradesh-chief-minister-s-bizarre-remarks-414556?pfrom=home-lateststories

Probably tells a lot about the dog's voters though :cantstop:
Its a cong strategy to make sure the masses don't educated. In cities they struggle to win. But in villages cong has real power. very tough to beat them. Most of them believe cong is the only party.
