GrandMasterSaxy Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 India should look for other option. period.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Welcome to ICF :) To be honest, I believe that bowling, straight from grassroots level is not taken seriously in India. The myth here is that "line and length" alone will make one,a better bowler. Thank you very much. I had been reading this forum for a while before I started posting. Love the forum! :) It's a shame about how India treats fast bowling. Regarding India, the likes of Zaheer khan, Sreesanth, RP Singh, Irfan Pathan had become heroes to me because of their world cup wins in 2007 and 2011. Some like zaheer were larger than life at times and inspired me to prefer bowling over batting. Same goes for Pakistani fast bowlers who run in and dominate and have that aggression. Aussie bowlers are also a treat to watch. It's missing from India but hopefully coming back with Shami and Bhuvi who have been great finds. India desperately needs a culture change and a wave of inspiration, not just 1-2 good bowlers!
