Captain of Bhangra
Before this Test, he averaged 50.07. He finished on 49.something. I think this means that Miandad is the only retired Pakistani cricketer to have a 50+ average... Link to comment
MundaPakistani
He averaged 50+ for Pakistan. Link to comment
theguyinallblue
:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:....This is new thing.... Inzi was crying to play in world XI... MP..why not consider those decisions as NOT OUT in which inzi was given out wrongly... i am sure he will avg 60 + when you would take that into account. Link to comment
kablooee87
It's not that big a deal. Missing out on a 50 average by 0.14 (or whatever it is) doesn't say much about hsi career. It just means he retired at the right time. Link to comment

kablooee87
i bet on paki forums' date=' bradman comparisons will start :hahaha::hysterical:[/quote'] The comparison is valid in terms of screwing it up right at the end. Nobody is comparing the two is batting ability/stats. PS. The only place so far where I've seen the Bradman ending comparison made is cricinfo. Link to comment
The Outsider
Not that it really matters in the end and an average of 49.xx is still pretty damn good and 50 is just a number, but to bring in the "playing for Pakistan" reason is a bit laughable considering how Inzamam was willing to give his arm, leg, and bit more to play in the Super Series Test.
