I think most posters who voted in the poll are ones who have followed the Delhi elections so the lines wouldn't have effected their opinions on this issue either ways. But of course you just have to nitpick. just now :winky:

As I said in my earlier post - wasn't AAP supposed to be "different" from the existing parties and wasn't it there to "change" the system? If yes, then returning the favor by calling names isn't really a good way to go about it. But the reality is that no matter what you (or other AAP supporters or member) may say, AAP is just like any other party and will not be different form other parties apart form the fact that AAP doesn't know much about politics.

Common S=G! This is a non-issue really. Ganeshran has put it perfectly - AAP is in a catch 22 situation. They've gone for the best possible option of crowd sourcing via referendum. Such a referendum happens at many democracies in the world and is a legitimate option. The other choice is to sit in your own ivory towers and decide what your people want. It is not a sin to gauge people's sentiments on the issue. Will it go to the public every time it has to make a hard decision? AFAIK the people have already selected 28 AAP MLAs to take some decisions for them - its time these MLAs and the to leadership of AAP take some responsibility and start taking decisions instead of dithering.

Did it go to the public to decide on electricity firm discoms - NO? Did it go to the public to decide on the water usage policies - NO? Did it go to the public to decide on their health care policies - NO? So just because they are taking an opinion to gauge the sentiment of the people doesn't mean they will go to the public for every decision! On some they will, on some they won't. It's just that we aren't used to it. For example - talk about this to a Swiss national and he will say "What's the matter? We do it all the time." It is not a problem to engage people in democracy. Phirse logical fallacy. I never saw Tendulkar spewing venom on the field over the years just because his fans did. Tendulkar was "different" as well. I am giving this example because you can relate to it. Also, one needs to understand that what people say on the Internet hardly matters in actual governance in a place like India. So don't be surprised if the supporters spew venom and the govt performs well. This same logic applies for the BJP as well - the BJP supporters from Gujarat are fabricating hate posts. Does that stop the Gujarat government from performing? Once again - two mutually independent events.

No, I can not ever support for this step. ! It is not fair after all, be the same when you are committing at the time of election why you gonna be changed now! I know you are a true man but you have something which you have to improve.
