Sachin=GOD Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Should the Aam Aadmi Party form a Govt. in Delhi with the support of Cong? AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday released a letter written to the people of Delhi stating the party's position and seeking their suggestions on the issue. AAP will write 25 lakh letters to citizens to know their views on government formation, Kejriwal said. He also added that people can call, send SMS or give their opinion on party's website till Sunday. "On Monday we will write a letter to Lt Governor based on the consensus of the people and make our stand public," he added.

randomGuy Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 YES - I had said the same on day one of cong. announcing unconditional support . We will eventually witness this only.
beetle Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 They should give conditional support to BJP.....the condition being...running an honest govt...not expect them to follow their manifesto.
Number Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 They should invite sms from people for this. Based on that they should form the govt. Then if they form the govt, then they should invite sms for who should they chose for ministers post and let people play election-election by sms everyday.
bulbul Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 S!=G , plz add one more option , whether AAP need to refund $ if they form Govt with Con party.
randomGuy Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 S!=G ' date=' plz add one more option , whether AAP need to refund $ if they form Govt with Con party.[/quote'] :cantstop: they should have already got the refund demand since they have backtracked on promise of not even thinking of taking cong. support. Need answers, where is the outsider?
Yoda-esque Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 S!=G ' date=' plz add one more option , whether AAP need to refund $ if they form Govt with Con party.[/quote'] S!=G lol
Clarke Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Aam aadmi doesn't mean being a douche of a leader. Will you end up seeking public opinion on every damn policy ? Grow a pair and move forward.
The Outsider Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 LOL! Some people's interest and obsession with The Outsider is bordering on unhealthy.
coffee_rules Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Need a third option, they could have supported a minority govt of BJP by abstaining from the vote of confidence and still would have gained political experience of sitting in the opposition and gotten some of their election promises implemented.
bulbul Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 ^what to do you are sarvantaryami. On serious note what is your stance on refund now? Do you agree the behaviour of AAP is fine so far?
bulbul Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 What is legal opinion about below situation. AAP forms Govt.no other party opposes no confidence motion.
Sachin=GOD Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 Need a third option' date=' they could have supported a minority govt of BJP by abstaining from the vote of confidence and still would have gained political experience of sitting in the opposition and gotten some of their election promises implemented.[/quote'] As soon as the results came out AAP outright rejected offering any kind of support to any party.
bulbul Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Another situation AAP forms govt,Con party supports AAP in no confidence motion what sghould AAP do ? Run govt or Run away? What legal opinion says if AAP ran away?
Sachin=GOD Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 What is legal opinion about below situation. AAP forms Govt.no other party opposes no confidence motion. AFAIK there is a provision for a minority Govt. in the constitution so AAP would be able to run a Govt. Another situation AAP forms govt,Con party supports AAP in no confidence motion what sghould AAP do ? Run govt or Run away? What legal opinion says if AAP ran away? same as above - it will be a minority govt. There is no legal opinion if AAP ran away because its AAP's choice whether to form the Govt. or not.
randomGuy Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Need a third option' date=' they could have supported a minority govt of BJP by abstaining from the vote of confidence and still would have gained political experience of sitting in the opposition and gotten some of their election promises implemented.[/quote'] they knew the numbers situation. They should have done that in the beginning but they didn't. But what you've given was the best option i.e. - let bjp form minority govt.
