because that was our last tour of south africa. in ur last tour there u were laughed out of the country.
Lol we drew a test match as well. It's quite convenient for you to leave that out

Again repeating the same lie. These major players were the reason for India's ascent to number one. For you to be unable to comprehend is quite ridiculous, but expected. PS: those major players are rated much higher than any player SL has ever produced. Only Colombo logic would allow one to conclude that Sanga and jaya are better than tendulkar, Dravid, laxman, sehwag
why are we talking about players who've retired in a thread about the future? :yay: in any case, sl is more about team work and winning rather than individuals who play for records and lose 0-12 :omg:

you mean the test where India thought they won in the 3rd day and Saffers managed to hold on to a draw for batting out for days? do you consider that as an achievement by India?:hysterical: Hey mister ,we won a test match in our last tour.

As for SL cricket, they have good upcoming youngsters in thirimanne, Chandimal, and kushal perera. However, like their Asian counterparts, they will struggle to find good seamers. I'm out too many Colombo retards in one thread:bye:

no, actually i have more hope for the new bunch of sl seamers that are coming up than at any time in the recent past. dont worry about us, worry about winning away from home for a change :yay:

I said decent, not world beaters.I didn't even count Bangla thrashing For example we did much better in England in 2011 than India who got the better conditions in summer but still got white washed. We won a test in SA last time we toured but India won jack **** in SA last time around. Won one match against Pakistan and loss one. So for us it's like you win some loose some , but for poor test teams like India and Bangladesh it's like you loose some and them loose some more. It's not my concern that India lost some players in the recent past , in fact they had most of them when they got thrashed by England and Australia for 8-0.
You won one or two matches here and there, if that is decent to you, then your team will surely go a long way. India is a team in serious transition and is bound to be inconsistent. The presence of 40 year grandpas is no proof of being a strong team. But Sri Lanka sucks even when it had its best players.

but u were terrible even when these so called major players were playing :hysterical:
Not any difference between having major players at the end of their careers or not having them. Use some common sense please.

Big difference in inconsistent vs being plain abysmal. Few wins here and there and few drawn matches, yeah you can call it decent.

It's not other team's fault that India kept non performing seniors in the team.

Even the great Australian team struggled after losing several key players. As far as I know, no Indian I know has agreed that India has been decent away recently, we know we are struggling due to the loss of Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid, Sachin, Laxman and Zaheer - that is half the team. But it is you guys who are on the moon for one win against SA and Pak. And you guys keep posting :hysterical::hysterical: and :haha::haha: on Indian posters and Indian team in every post of yours. It is difficult to find one Lankan post without sarcastic smilieys in it. Seriously insecure, eh?

You found how difficult it was to dislodge your aging papa Jayasurya isn't it? It isn't easy to remove players and politicians in the SC.

Again , we are not over the moon, lot of improvement needed, but we have been not abysmal as low grade Test teams, that's the point. Not sure what you say about smileys, where did you see me using extensive usage of smilies? I specifically try not to use them as much as possible unless it is clearly needed to express a feeling. You guys are on the other hand are very fond of stupid smilies, even your post has too many of them.

You don't see us using Jayasuriya sticking around as an excuse do you?

lol u can't compare hacks like those to the aussie greats :hysterical: plus sehwag, gambhir and zaheer havent even retired yet. they just arent very good right now. tendulkar hung on selfishly for 3 years to get a personal milestone, dravid was useless the last year. the team has definitely improved with kohli and pujara. EDIT- stop posting trash like this if u want me to stop using smileys
