gakgupta Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I have seen the first ODI match for India against Pakistan and pleasantly surprised by the pace generated by the Indian pace bowlers CV Milind & Avesh Khan. They were consistently hitting 135+ and most times touching 140, if the machines were showing the right numbers. Out of the 2; Milind was pretty impressive......Does this mean selectors are recognizing the importance of pace??........Of the 2 world cups i have followed (U19), none of our bowlers were crossing 125 on consistent basis but were extremely skillful
Blue Star Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 You are too slow... http://indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=309230
TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Yeah, I think it's definitely deliberate on their part to pick bowlers who are quick and not just your regular swing bowlers. I'm excited about Chama Milind. Looks like a good prospect for the future.
tweaker Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I think Kumar who bowled against PNG was also very fast.
