May be Dravid was told about the plans. Why does everybody assume that DBV hasn't talked to Dravid? Regards, why Dravid is not playing the challengers. if he did, then the reason for his axe (rest) will not hold good. DBV/selectors want Dravid to keep cricket out of his mind for a while. Now, Dravid will get into his groove by playing Agarkar in the Ranjis and get back to form. That seems to be the plan to prepare Dravid. I don't think playing Sehwag is a mistake. Sehwag has always stamped his authoruty over Pak bowlers and why should we think that he would not do the same this time too? As for Tiwary, he is struggling and couldn't carve big scores for himself. For Badri, I think it is a blessing in disguise that he has not been chosen for the shorter version of the game. He didn't look much of an one day player and his List A stats isn't extra-ordinary too. Raina is staking his claim, but let him do it a few more times before he is chosen back. So, Sehwag, who is originally is MO player might make a name for himself in that familiar position!
