Pakistan's Weak Link

Is their captain. Shoaib Malik looks absolutely shattered, completely overwhelmed. You could see him freeze, fear of failure writ large on his face while patting back the Indian spinners back down the pitch, before getting out to an innocuous arm ball from a part timer. Erred by bringing on Rahman during the very last overs in death, allowing India to escape after an excellent penultimate over from Gul. His own bowling has been super-friendly, to put it kindly. Topped it off by blaming star performer Salman Butt for the defeat for dropping Yuvraj in the post match interview. Boy doing a man's job, IMO. More power to you, Malik!:D

While we are on Malik, I think he needs to come in at number 3, especially against India. Have you noticed Malik holding his cap with his left hand while shaking hands. I suppose with this gesture, he is trying to show respect to the person he's shaking hands with but he just holds it and does not let go of it. Seems like Fawad Alam was doing the same thing. It looked quite funny

Captaincy has certainly screwed his batting, which would have been one thing Indians would have been wary off, as Malik never failed against India. Pakistan never had great captains since Akram. They always achieve results inspite of a poor captain. Unlike Malik, Inzi, while being captain, hit his purple patch a a batsman. Its Malik's inability to perform, while handling captaincy, thats hurting Pakistan more.

Captaincy has certainly been very poor. The worst thing is that he isn't learning and still making the same mistakes that he made in the series vs SA.
which is ?

Younis Khan should have been made their captain. Malik is a total misfit who looks like he doesn't know what he is doing. Besides, he can't score in a wh0rehouse and seems to have succumbed to the Inzi-titus; demoting himself down the order because he can't take the pressure.
