CG Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 The way the top order in all 3 innings have collapsed, the pitch might not be as flat as people think. The bowlers of both sides may have run out of steam after a few overs, especially when any pair has fought back. This pop gun attack won't win us tests abroad. Maybe a rare one. Our bowlers lack pace, ability and consistency. The pitch is flat with no bounce .its more poor batting.
express bowling Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 The pitch is flat with no bounce .its more poor batting. It is a slow pitch with somewhat variable bounce especially when dug in short. Plus, in England, the weather is always changing. Often , the ball starts swinging when there is cloud cover. The batsmen have not found it that easy from time to time. It is not the kind of condition where a no.11 should score 80+.
