My advice: Don't. My stupid Firefox crashes every time I open anything using Flash. The reboot may have wiped out/corrupted your Firefox bookmark settings somehow.

Sorry Adobe Flash isn't supported for 64 bit machines for linux. The way to get around it is to either use the 32-bit version of Firefox, or use nspluginwrapper ( i haven't done it personally since I don't have a 64-bit machine, but you can look around or ask in ubuntuforums ) Also, if you have to install the 32 bit version, please install the beta version (Version 9). If you use Ubuntu then type: sudo aptitude install nspluginwrapper then download the flash archive from http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz type: tar zxf NAME_OF_THE_FILE_YOU_DOWNLOADED cd THE_NEW_DIRECTORY_WITH_FLASHPLAYER_FILES then cp *.so /usr/lib/firefox/plugins then nspluginwrapper -i NAME_OF_THE_FLASH_LIBRARY_FILE I'll edit the post for the proper file names next time I boot into Linux.
