seems nitish is sulking after not being included in the samajwadi janata dal parliamentary affairs committee. Did not attend Lalu's rally.
There is no reason for them to include Nitish , he don't have any specific vote bank of his own.He tried to develop Mahadalt vote bank, which is now gone with Manjhi. Unless he is offered CM candidature in next election his political career is over.

Absolutely foolish not to include him. He and Lalu are the only leaders the Janata Parivar has in Bihar. Also, Nitish has been a pretty good CM (except the last few months). Should be there.

also notice nitish after being sidelined has praised modi. So whenever he appears to be sidelined Nitish praises modi to remind the yadavs that he has options? apparently this committee will decide who gets the tickets for all samajwadi janata dal all over india. It looks like many Jd(u) sitting MLA's will not get tickets. So either they will need to go via the mlc route or fight as independents or join the bjp.

Yes. Nitish is keeping his options open in case they sideline him.

Another thiung is in Bihar Lalu family is more powerful so they dont have a place for another person. As i already wrote unless he is made CM candidate before election,he is done. I dont feel bad at all for his situation, his ego became bigger than him obviously he is facing the issues now.

its a pretty dumb way to do it. If he does go back to the bjp alliance he will have to be junior partner. I really dont know what he achieved. He took a gamble of going alone to establish himself on his own. It failed badly. Should have accepted his defeat and gone back to the BJP. Its like he suffered a wound and his pouring poison over it. Even if the janata pariwar win there is a good chance he might be sidelined long term. Atleast is going back to the BJP he would have maintained his Jd(u) flock

The RJD has accepted the leadership of Bihar chief minister Kumar, but there is little agreement on anything else. JD(U) members want to contest all the 115 seats the party had won in the last assembly elections. The RJD wants to contest an equal number of seats, leaving very little for the Congress, which is backing the new entity. The assembly has a total of 243 seats. “We will contest on all the seats that JD(U) won in 2010 assembly poll,” said a senior JD(U) leader involved in talks with the RJD. He requested anonymity. A senior RJD leader played down the differences even as he admitted their existence. “Every such alliance, and this is a merger, has seat-sharing issues, and ours is no different, specially in this case where both the RJD and the JD(U) are equally important parties in the state,” said this person, who also spoke on condition of anonymity. Both parties knew what they were getting into, this person added. He sees the eventual math as thus: “100 for the RJD, 100 for the JD (U), and the rest between the Congress, the CPM (Communist Party of India-Marxist), and the others.”
http://www.livemint.com/Politics/15aLWxfgkpgvA2XGURQL6I/Bihar-polls-Differences-emerge-in-Janata-Parivar.html RJD is looking at 100 (Jd(u) and RJD) 30 Congress and 13 for the left front. Jd(u) is looking at 115 Jd(u) 100 RJD and 28 Congress with nothing for the left front.

If Janata Parivar comes to power there is nobody else who can be CM. Also, Nitsh has his own followers among JDU MLAs - that was clear in Manjhi trust vote.

Huh??? He is the CM so he obviously will be the CM candidate - Lalu can't contest and the Janata Parivar doesn't have ANYONE of Nitish/Lalu's stature so Nitish will be the CM candidate.

We have to see...why will Lalu so easily give leadership to Nitish?

Because he is debarred from contesting elections for 5 more years.
Lalu may be debarred that doesn't means he will concedes the power so easily...we all know in politics not many people can control a state unit.

And you think a guy who has been CM since 2005 will concede power to Lalu when he knows that Lalu can't contest and his sons/daughters/wife are no good at politics. Anyone who thinks Nitish is going to just give up power to Lalu/Mulayam in case of a Janata Parivar victory is just not seeing the political reality of there being no alternate. Just look what happened when they went with a rubber stamp CM in the form of Manjhi - after that experiment I found if they would go with anyone other than a tried and tested person like Nitish.

Its not about Nitish giving up,its about how much power Nitish really ahve...he became CM with help of BJP,no one knows how much he can win individually. Also if Nitish became CM what will happen to Lalu family? unless they have given enough power why they simply agree Nitish to dominate?
