Sooda
Team 1 Gilchrist (wk) Sachin Sangakkara De Villiers Flintoff Shakib Streak Warne © Wasim Ambrose Bond Team 2 KP Tamim Richards Kallis Flower (wk) Miandad Dhoni © Klusener Hadlee Murali McGrath Nice one, Miandad is a good call. Team one is a bit bowler heavy whereas team 2 has good batting depth... Ambrose out for Lara in Team 1would really boost their batting and still have an awesome Akram-Bond-Flintoff-Streak pace attack Link to comment
Sooda
Team 1 Gilchrist Gayle ABD Jayawardene Dhoni Flintoff Shakib Wasim Akram Streak Brett Lee Bond Team 2 Mccullum Sankakara Kohli KP Andy Flower Watson Afridi Allan Donald Steyn Narine Mortaza I have chosen contemporary players. Team 1 is AUS dominant while Team 2 is SA dominant. No Viv Richcards or Tendulkar, wow man... and a bit bowler/allrounder heavy both teams are I think Link to comment
MK55
No Viv Richcards or Tendulkar' date=' wow man... and a bit bowler/allrounder heavy both teams are I think[/quote'] Some of the players like Dhoni, Watson can also be considered purely for their batting. Can do the job in ODIS. Dint choose Viv as i wanted contemporary players. Sachin was spoiling my combination:--D:haha: Link to comment
Vijy
Good sides... not sure about Sang and Huss opening- both can do so well -but there are specialist openers you could have picked... but good balance in the teams. Interesting that you picked Trott' date=' good call, easy to forget he averaged 50+ in ODI, would be good foil for Viv and his fellow Saffie ABDV[/quote'] I do want my Team 1 to kinda pwn Team 2. As for Team 2, I intend Neil Johnson to open (as he used to do for Zim) and have either Kallis/Hussey open. Didn't consider specialist openers apart from Greenidge, but I wanted Garner to beef up the bowling. Link to comment
