My bet is on Ireland, Afghanistan, Nepal, UAE, Scotland and Netherlands. Also in contention - Hong Kong, Namibia. Upset candidates - PNG, Canada, Kenya.

What a pointless tournament. Ireland could do what they did last time, win every single game, and get rewarded with....... 2 games vs the same teams and Zim. Riveting stuff. ICC have shoehorned this 10 team WC garbage into this tournament already and people havent even noticed, joke.

Throughout the entire last qualifying process Ireland beat UAE (3 times) Canada USA Italy Namibia Afghanistan (Easily) Zimbabwe Then lost their last game in a freak chase by the Dutch. The Dutch lost to PNG lost to Scotland lost to UAE lost to Zim then beat us in that run chase and got to play in the "proper" tournament. **** the ICC, just **** everything about them and their retarded bs competitions. And eff the cricketing world for pretending this stupid t20 format is "expansive" when all it does is hide the first stage behind warm up games and pretends anyone gave a damn about the opening teams when they SHOULD have been in 4 groups of 4.

I understand your frustration but before last WC, there were 4 more world cups with 4 groups of 3 teams. And the things you described match with SA experience over years. Its choking, everyone does it, India does it too.

Why isn't bd and zim partaking in this qualifier? Aren't they both below Ireland in ranking in this format? So much for justice...
