Voice of the future http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Swapan_Dasgupta_Voice_of_the_future/articleshow/2625145.cms With an image of being uncompromisingly tough, ruthlessly driven, politically innovative, fanatically honest and culturally rooted, Modi has evolved into the leader of the New Gujarat. Through his oratory and resolute leadership, he has captured the restlessness of the intensely nationalist we-can-do-it generation which, as a recent Pew Global Attitudes Survey discovered, believes overwhelmingly that Indian culture is superior to anything else. In addition, Modi invites aesthetic disdain. When beautiful people like Mallika Sarabhai and Aditi Mangaldas sneer at the Modi dispensation, they do so with all the condescension that Old Money reserves for the nouveau. Likewise, whereas Modi is almost friendless in the Old Media, he commands aggressive support among bloggers and netizens.

I have never been so desperate for a leader to win election than Namo. I sincerely hope Namo wins Guj elections and all p-secs eat crow. Even blindly anti-Modi channels like IBN have started choosing credibility over propaganda and in their exist polls have shown that BJP under Namo leadership is set to get majorty:two_thumbs_up:

U hhaven't seen many election in that case.. desperation is following Distributing toyota Inova to every tom dick and hary by congress It's huge achievement if he wins: Despite 24/7 vilification since last five years he kept quietly working for GUjaraat and opened his mouth only on election time. His impartiality in godhara post-godhra episode is obvious from the fact that both sides are accucing him for not taking care of their accuseds.. VHP is complaining so is psec/muslim groups..

so far every exit poll has predicted around 100 seats to BJP so, that makes a comfortable majority. Despite Keshubhai factor and negative propaganda by Modi haters, I am still confident he will win majority. But one thing is disappointing is the internal-politics within BJP. This is a party which must continue to draw inspiration from selfless service of RSS. These days, BJP leaders sometime seem to be more concerned about 'personal" gain than wider ideological and national gain. Even our very own UP fellow-- Rajnath Singh (I have attended a rally of him in past) is not capable of leading BJP in "United' way. I would be happy, if Narendra Modi is not furtrher ignored and should be given reigns of BJP. Narendra Modi is definately a candidate for Prime Ministers job and should be projected like that-- otherwise our dhimmi media, which has already downgraded him, will continue hounding. Initiative must be taken by BJP and Advani like leaders should leave their personal ambition aside and project Modi as future PM candidate of BJP. India getting a PM like Modi will be a revolutionary change in 21st century.:isalute:

I too am so disappinted on that ego-driven squabble withtin the party .. They used to be disciplined driven by mission not ambition.. Time to go back to the basic ethos of RSS whihc is ego-less rashtra-bhakti rashtra-nirmaan..

Modi will win for sure. Left keeps on winning in Bengal' date=' Laloo ruled the roost in Bihar, and Rajeev Gandhi won a landslide after the '84 riots.[/quote'] Rajeev gandhi lost in 1989 Left has very fromidable criminal-goon network in each and every nook and corner of WB. IN NAMO's favour riot effect was in 2002 even then he didn't do 3 out of 4 seat clean sweep like Rajeev Gandhi. Had not been for his work he wud have been shown the door this time. Imagine brickbat from all side and nothing to show for in development section. Even moderate achievements wud have not been enough.

Next election they first need to win.. My judgement says next election is goign to be another none-congress none-BJP experiment at centre.. Mayawati will be at the forefront of leadership role. Communist 60 odd Mayawati 50 odd JD(U) 30 outside support. BIJU JD 20 outside support AIADMK 40 NCP 30 oddTDP 30 odd 10 odd from Telanagan party 20 odd independent 15 SP outside support This arrangement will last for couple of years.. Sitaram Yechuri as finance minster ..God save India:nervous:

Exit polls have shown that Modi's numbers have come down in every region except the riot affected areas, clearly showing that divide and rule is still going strong. Left and Laloo also keep/kept going for years by polarizing the society. Like it or not, a lot of elections in India are still decided by divisive politics. Don't want to argue endlessly on it either because there is no way you would seen any fault in Modi/BJP.

Exit polls says Modi's numbers are intact in every region except Keshubhai's stronghold.. it's between Modi and Keshubhai congress is just sideshow.. Moreover Exit polls say a lot of things Irony is every time they get it wrong and still they keep harping. You might have forgotten but I still remember how exit poll suggested even in 2002 that riot impact is not beyond ahmedabaad and very intelligent selction of candidates have more or less anulled it so congress is scrapping through..
