get technology into the game
then why limit to just umpiring. Lets put a chip in ball and keeper can control the swing of ball using a remote in his pocket. batsman should be allowed to wear motorized skates so that they can reach the other end faster with minimal effort. Each team should be allowed to use bowling machine as 5th bowler.

Now a question to you : If the umpires are reqd to give correct decisions what stops them (and ICC) from using technology other than ego ?
Implementation without slowing game. Test cricket is slow (after watching 20/20 even ODI seem slow) , refering 3rd umpire every second over will slow down the game even more. I read abt each team getting certain number of challenges but how do you conclude whats the right number. There will be days when you wont need a single challenge but then there will be days when you might need 20. Every second match a captain is fined or warned for slow over rate imagine what this will do to cricket. How do you conclude use of technology will ensure 100% correct decision. Will you accept every decisions given by haweye ? Every time a replay fails to pick an edge and the 3rd umpire says 'i give benefit of doubt to batsman' is that a correct decision ?
