Dravid's form during 99-00 series

This were dravid's scores Adelaide 35 (126) 1 4 6 (16) MCG 9 (36) 1 4 14 (109) SCG 29 (74) 1 4 0 (7) He just scored 3 boundaries and faced 368 deliveries... During 03-04 series, he hit flurry of boundaries in Brisbane second innings and he never looked back. I think Dravid should go there and hit few boundaries early and thats how usually he settles down.

Kabira, You are right. Dunno whats wrong with Dravid now. He has tried to hit boundaries early in a few inning(s) with Pak in last series and got out. Maybe he thought he was being aggressive too early, and then tried the slow poke approach. Obv. it is best he tries to score a bit quickly initially, rather than slow poke!

what about the diff between 99 and 2001 bowling attack ?

No difference there except that pitches in 2001 were a lot easier to bat on than in 1999 for the Indian batsmen.
