Who needs a Coach ?

Recommended Posts

The BCCI and the Team had stated "At this level players know what they are doing and what aspect of the game they need to work at ". Is this really true ? I have read a lot of articles about how senior Indian players don't get well along with the coach & the present situation seems to be a result of that. BCCI is picking all the coaches who can not put pressure on the seniors. The likes of Robin Singh and V Prasad played under Saurav & co hence can not put the seniors under a lot of pressure. John Wright was the coach when India toured Australia last and India did reasonably well in the Tests. Gary Kirsten has played his cards right by refusing to join on this tour and to wait till a home series. It was the responsibility of Ravi & Sunil to find a coach who was willing to take on a challenge and they couldn't find the right person and the timing is horribly wrong. Gary Kirsten is an unknown, unqualified , not so experienced coach who was correctly tagged by Aussie media as "A puppet of BCCI" . whom do we blame ... Ravi & Sunil , BCCI or the players ?
