India tickled pink as cricket boards in Asia warm to day-night Tests

Not just India but all the subcontinent countries think of playing D/N test. Why in so much hurry? They could have decided upon it after playing one season of domestic cricket of D/N FC matches, no? Just can't fathom this hurry from them.

D/N is hot right now. Everyone is eager to watch now.Hence the hurry.

There will be a trial FC match before this test i guess...

I know. Decision whether to play the test or not, should have been taken AFTER this trial, not BEFORE it. If it is decided beforehand that the test HAS TO be played, even if difficulties are faced, how will it matter?

But there is one test already played in OZ..all we have to do si find a ground which is closer to that environment...

End of day BCCI doesn't bother what players think [legends are retired anyway]...so feed back from players/officials not going to make any difference...

Pros and cons of a pink ball test in India

Perceived!!

As for feedbacks from Australia:

Cricket Australia set for pink-ball battle with own Test players

Just read the players problems.

And about the pink ball, here is the feedback from Australia:

Don't believe the hype – the pink ball didn't pass the test

" The conclusion was simple, if a little disturbing. The further you were from the game the better the day-night Test match was. For those on the field it was manifestly unsettling. For those in the Adelaide Oval it was a novel occasion (and Adelaide folk will, let's be honest, turn out en masse to see two poets argue about the dithyramb versus the iambic pentameter, or to see the Clipsal 500) but not compelling enough to stay to the end. On the other hand, if you were on the couch in Sydney or Melbourne this was the future of cricket and the players should just take their compensation and be happy with it. "

Aware of all these issues..They got that match done after CA offered a special bonus for both team players....so if same arrangement done match will happen in here as well.
