sourab10forever Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Kithuruwan Vithanage, the Sri Lanka batsman, was handed a one-year suspension from all forms of cricket by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Thursday (July 7) after he was found guilty of misconduct and in breach of the ICC Code of Conduct clause(s) 3.1.9.10 and 3.1.9.11. According to reports, Vithanage was involved in a late-night brawl last month along with Ramith Rambukwella, after a group of unidentified men attacked the duo. Vithanage had sustained injuries and was admitted to a local hospital in Colombo. Having had a history of misdemeanour, SLC took into account the act and initiated an enquiry. Source: Cricbuzz
