The Outsider Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I hope they are that foolish. This is a batting beauty. Two of the best spinners in the world have troubled the batsmen at best and been scored off consistently at worst. As expected this is not a typical Sydney track which would have broken up by now (so much for the theory that Australia does not doctor pitches). I always have had huge respect for 4th innings chases but on this patta 300 is hardly a target. It's a draw courtesy Benson and Bucknor, who have been awarded the Man of the Match and Man of the Series award jointly. India's Sydney jinx of getting screwed by umpires and weather continues.
varun Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Hmm.. yeah agree with you. It'll be a draw most likely. I got a good feeling about Perth though this time.
Mr. Wicket Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I think Ponting will take a risk with the declaration, just to give himself a shot at the 16th win.
The Outsider Posted January 5, 2008 Author Posted January 5, 2008 Looks like it has stopped raining, so probably another 15-18 overs today. But anything less than 75 overs on this track I don't have any doubts our batting is going to pull through.
