Come on Kabira you know better cricket than that. You are playing on 5th day with 2 sessions to go. You know the only result possible in 70 overs is a draw(cant see India chasing 300 plus on last day in 70 overs). What would be your plan of action?? To play the kind of shot that Jaffer played? Or SRT? Put it this way - All things being equal, had Australia been trying to play out 70 overs do you see them bat the way Indians did? xxx
Huh, it took them 30 wkts to win, if all things were being equal, this match would've been finished with a day to spare and with OZ losing, with buddas not yuvas contributing to the win much to your chagrin.

All things being equal we would have squared this series much earlier in the day

Lurks ... mistakes happen thats why its called sports .... with that sort of logic u used no innings is free of blame .... What about Clarke's daft decision to pad up to a straight offie in the 1st innings ? What is not acceptable though is umpiring mistakes.
And who is accepting those mistakes? Lets see the biggest mistakes here: 1) Symonds catch off Sharma. 2) Ponting's catch off Ganguly 3) Dravid's catch off Symonds. 4) Ganguly's catch off Lee. In my opinion the 4 biggest culrpit, aside from a couple of life that Hussey received. From what I have seen on this board, Indian media, Australian media, British media they have ALL highlighted the mistakes above. It is now in the hands of BCCI and team management how it is handled but I wont buy it for a second that fans/media/commentators have "accepted" it. xxx

Another senile comment. And yes the same answer to you too - Indeed I was wishing seniors to fail and India to win. Yes shows your IQ right here. As for the whole winning match with day to spare read my comments to Kabira within this thread. That should answer it very well.

Lurker Sir, you make no sense. 70 overs on breaking pitch was always going to be tricky. The situation was simple. out of top 7, 2 guys had to play out maximum overs...probably 55-60 overs, thats how you save the game...Its cricket, does n't matter if you scored 100, you start from zero in next innings, If you blaming Sachin for difficult, I think you got it wrong. He got out, he made mistake which anyone could have done it at the start of the innings. I bet you were never a batsman.

We are talking of 2nd innings here. We are talking of lasting ONLY 2 sessions here. We are talking of playing out ONLY 70 odd overs here. We are talking of shielding 6 wickets from likes of Symonds and Clarke. Take away Dravid but we are still talking of shielding 5 wickets. We are talking of batsmen playing out the amount of overs Kumble did. Aayee baat samajh mein. Yes of course. Your mental bankrupcy could muster only a cheap shot. Yes I wanted the seniors to fail and India to lose. Remind me what Dhondy said about Indian fans being worst and all.
kya paka raha he.. did you watch the game? really.. i think you were just waiting on India to lose dont you? so you can come up with this garbage? anyways.. happy self-loathing..... haha mental bankcrpcy.. thats a good one .. :cantstop:

Yes my comment was senile, not your constant rants against buddas not so long ago :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: I hoped to see little less of that but I was wrong.

We played good enough for 3 days and should have never been in position to save the game...so Lurker lets not talk about that we did not bat 70 overs..

I don't know why he's so concerned with PP though. I remember him making another thread saluting the balls of pak team and rubbishing the Ind team, although soon after pak team got thrashed as usual :hysterical::hysterical:

Since Lurker saab missed them in game, here they are again Append them to your list: 5) 3rd ump blunder of Symmo's stumping 6) Not referring a stumping to 3rd chump by chu.t*** facknor, again for his long lost son 7) Not giving mr. cricket out when even the comms heard the nick Yes, indians deserve to lose the match. BTW I'm not even going for the lbws denied, 2 for India, at least 3 for OZs.

I guess anyone speaking against the prevailing opinion should expect some backlash. It is instructive to see how people react to an opinion different from their's though. For sometime, I have seen that certain ICFers, usually ones who can't be bothered to post anything longer than one line anyway, usually latch on to some perceived "anti-India" or anti-established star opinions, and generally behave like perfect boors. Quite off-putting, this. You must be very obnoxious persons if you behave like this in real life. What is this- some kind of complex? Some Freudian events in your childhood, perhaps?

Steady on Doc ... any chance of going through the cross-questioning or is that not allowed ?
Nope, do you know, I really can't be bothered. It's been quite enjoyable seeing people trip over their knickers. Some other day, perhaps?

Of course, what do you expect from wannabes half educated half idiots? Now what's the Freudian analysis from your highness? :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
