Guha is comfortably one of the most eminent historian about our cricket , it's system and generally workings BCCI.Considering 2 of them are completely outside of cricketing field , Guha and Eduljee are two very good choices to guide them in that regard.

 

His only issue is his stance against IPL which is stupid.But this is temporary set up and committee will be headed by Vinod Rai .

 

Realistically the elections for BCCI should complete the start of IPL anyway or atleast the start of process .

And more importantly we still have a professional CEO and set up to run it smoothly .

Historian will guide them?Really?Guha isnt even a out and out Cricket Historian either.He is a LOLfer of a selection.

Gavaskar was good enough to head IPL in 2014,appointed by SC.Now he isnt good enough,but Eduljee is.

 

These are suggestions by Gopal Subramaniam a Congress supporter who had links with Nira Radia.Not to mention he was dropped from a list of recommendations of being made a SC judge on objections of the BJP govt.

 

The second Amicus is Prashant Bhusan's buddy.Thats why you see these kind of recommendations.

Need senior cricketers to head bcci

There is no realistic way to say whether any of these guys are good enough or not unless they complete atleast a portion of their tenure. Any other judgements will be mere assumptions.

Cricket won't survive if just 3 nations play it. It is practical for everyone involved including bcci to consider the financial status of other boards as well.

Out of 9 test playing nations it's already on a decline in Wi,  Pak, SL and zim.
