Dinx - the Jinx
Out of curiosity, I was just checking the ticket prices at Dharamsala and I was shocked. Its so affordable and cheap that I am kicking myself for not planning a trip for this test match. The prices are something I used to pay in the late 90s and early 2000's in Chennai Just check it out for yourself http://www.kyazoonga.com/Match/India-vs-Australia-Test-Match-Day-2/119448 I recently paid Rs. 10000/- for a season ticket (5 days) to the best seat in Bangalore. A very similar stand i.e Pavilion Terrace at Dharamsala costs only Rs. 800 for 5 days. Thats only Rs. 160 per day. They even have tickets for Rs. 40 per day for some of the other stands. With cool weather and no need for a roof above you in this venue, I think the price is like almost free. I could have easily put this money on flight and hotel and still watched the test. Next time Dharamsala is going to host a test, I'll be among the first ones to book my tickets. If anyone living in states not far away, I think its worth going there guys.
