Located in hilly city of former Indian captain MS Dhoni, JSCA stadium is one of the better designed and well planned stadium in India Conceived out of dispute between JSCA and Tata Steel who own Keenan stadium, Jamshedpur - host of all matches in Jharkhand, this stadium was inaugrated in 2013.

How to reach

Stadium has been built in HEC (Heavy Engineering Corporation) township of Ranchi. It is located 7 km from Ranchi airport and 10 km from Ranchi railway station. Ranchi is well connected all cities of India via rail, road and air routes.

Public transport in Ranchi is heavily dependent on auto-ricksaws, ricksaws, and e-ricksaws. Apart from that with Olacabs starting their operations in the city, it has become easier to travel point to point.

One can easily get an auto-ricksaw upto Dhurwa, nearest drop location for shared public transport. From airport, one has to reach Hinoo first, then travel to Dhurwa from Hinoo. Their is direct route from railway station to Dhurwa.

From Dhurwa, one can use ricksaws or e-ricksaws. The entire area has got good raod connectivity and since it is located in HEC township, there is enough greenery around to just take a walk (2 km) upto stadium. Travelling upto Dhurwa can be difficult during non-match days due to scarcity of transport modes.

Ranchi is a tier 2 city and transport is thin after 8-9 PM. However, during match days, it's hardly an issue anywhere.

Details about facilities

Places to stay in Ranchi - Frankly I don't have much idea about this. Never used hotels as Ranchi is my hometown.

Please suggest what else information would be required. I think we can build such profiles for all stadiums in India. If anyone has more information, pictures, videos, please post here.
