Total Series 1993 in SA

A tri-series held in SA .... Other two teams were WI and Pak  ....  Each team played other teams thrice. Top two teams played the final. A total of 10 games were played .... Memorable for some good bowling spells. Pak had Waqar and Wasim at peak. WI had Ambrose, Walsh, Patterson and Bishop .... In one of the games, Pak was bowled out for 43 by WI .... Lara was the highest run scorer with 341 runs at an avg of 68 w/ 2 100s. Waqar picked the most wkts - 16  .... The series was won by WI .... Final below in which Haynes reached 8,000 ODI runs, the first to do so in that format:
