Paceman Sami recalled by Pakistan Mohammad Sami appeals for a wicket in one-day cricket Sami has taken 73 wickets at an average of 48.36 Pakistan have recalled pace bowler Mohammad Sami to a 15-man squad for the third Test against West Indies. Sami, who replaces uncapped left-arm spinner Abdul Rehman, was dropped after taking just eight wickets at an average of 58.25 against England in the summer. "He has performed well in domestic cricket and that's why we have recalled him to strengthen the pace attack," said chief selector Wasim Bari. Sami has taken 73 wickets in 28 Test matches at an average of 48.36. Pakistan lead the three-match series against the West Indies 1-0 after a nine-wicket victory at Lahore last week. The second Test ended in a draw at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Thursday and the third and final Test starts in Karachi on Monday.
