SachDan Posted January 11, 2008 Author Posted January 11, 2008 Wow .... I think this was forced on him as SAF have decided to look at the youngsters. But Kapils Allrounder record of 400wkts + 4K remains intact :D Thats great...that record will stay with Kapil for quite a while for sure.
diegovegaz Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 tribute 2 the all time gr8 i salute him, my idol

CC1981 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Wow .... I think this was forced on him as SAF have decided to look at the youngsters. But Kapils Allrounder record of 400wkts + 4K remains intact :D Who cares...Kapil might`ve been a bit better bat than Polly but Polly was better than Kapil by far when it comes with the ball.
fineleg Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Who cares...Kapil might`ve been a bit better bat than Polly but Polly was better than Kapil by far when it comes with the ball. Agree, In terms of bowling Pollock was way too good.
CC1981 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 finey ' date=' u ever seen Kapil play in his prime ? :nervous:[/quote'] I have and he was very very good. But Pollock was better as a bowler- so were a lot more- in the last 30 years, i`d say the following pace bowlers were better than Kapil : Roberts Holding Garner Marshall Ambrose Pollock Donald McGrath Lillee Imran Wasim Hadlee leRoux van der Bijl
Indus_Army Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Excellent player. A pleasure watching him over the years.
