Anand Vasu from the ground says that the outfield is already very water-logged, and while the umpires won't call off the game just yet, its very unlikely that we'll get play soon. As for the skies, well they're just plain black now. I think this match will be Abandoned....

One thing I never understand is why the grounds just cover the square ... I mean in this day and age how hard is it to cover the entire ground with some protective covering ... Its not like it costs Millions of $ per square feet ... and it can be rollled when not needed !! :shrug:
