Krishna has to make sure Bheema has to win it. Jarasandh, Dhuryodhan , Bheema and the other two ( Name them ? ) have been blessed with a curse. The first one who kills the other (among of the five) will kill the rest.

I havent watched the serial , but read the volumes when I was a child. That question is from my meory.
