poori_meri Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Pakistan cricket team’s dashing opener Imran Nazir has informed PCB for his unavailability against Zimbabwe and would undergo nasal surgery next month. Talking to ‘The Post’ on Sunday, Imran Nazir said that he was not included in the Pakistan team probables for training camp as he has already informed his non-availability to the PCB chairman. “I have been facing nasal problems since the home series against South Africa and missed a couple of matches for the ailment,†he added. Imran maintained that he met Chairman PCB Dr. Nasim Ashraf last week and talked about his nasal problem while sought his permission to undergo surgery that he gave and assured board’s full support. He said that he would undergo surgery abroad or inland next week and hoped that he would be fit enough within two to three weeks and ready to play home series against Australia. To a question about his nasal problem, Imran said that he felt problem while inhaling that has hampered his stamina and he could not concentrate on batting properly at the moment.
cricket my love Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 The nasal procedure takes just half an hour and next day person is fit to do anything. I am sure he must be going for some major surgery ( brain surgery?) that require him to miss the Zimbabwe series. Can Afridi go for the same procedure?

No,you got to have a brain first to have surgery on that....Afridi doesn't qualify
