Most team has good to top performers but star status are given to people who have dominated the sport for a long time and achieved  a lot. You can just check by the number of followers they have on social media and see the difference between a star player and a good top performer. 

 

 

 

 

That's your opinion bud ,  Many posters here openly regard Sharma as the best opener , Pandya as the best all rounder and Dhawan a highly intent player -  you may define what a superstar is based on their following or whatever -  a lot of fans hereon also regard these average players as greatest this or greatest that...

Well sometimes a batsman cannot hit and they play the role of the anchor.  Dhoni's hitting skills are obviously declining , that's why the young guns Jadhav/ Pandya and them all could have used that better.  If Dhoni had a choice of let's say go belligerent and give his wicket away and go back to the pavillion like idiots such as Kohli and Dhawan , he could have perished too.   I don't sit in his mind,  but if his intent was to stick around and play the anchor , I'm sure this is communicated between the players in the middle. Also when two batsman are batting on the pitch and one is struggling to hit the ball for boundaries but sticking around to save a collapse , the other batsman can read the game as well.

This is true.. they say superstar rohit has done wonders at opening spot
