Rashid Khan becomes fastest to 100 ODI wickets

Rashid Khan  become the fastest bowler in the history of ODI cricket to reach the milestone of 100 wickets.

 

Rashid took only 44 matches to reach the landmark eclipsing the previous record held by Mitchell Starc, who had needed eight more games to the landmark.

 

Currently, Rashid stands at exactly 100 wickets from 44 matches at an average of 14.40 and wicket every 21.8 balls. To cap it, the legspinner has been parsimonious, with an economy rate of 3.96.

Taken against  mostly associate teams , good luck to him keeping those figures against Test ODI teams

Good for him. Plays more against minnows so not a surprise that the best bowlers among minnows will top the fastest wickets. Will he manage to take wickets at this pace if Afghanistan play more against major teams. That needs to be checked.
