Halal budget presented in Karnataka . What does it mean by money allocated for  self-defense classes for Muslim girls?

Bangalore university is renamed as Dr. Manmohan Singh University!!

I see it a win, atleast they didn't rename it as Rahul Gandhi University.

Hyderabad me you have JawaharLal Nehru Technical University, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Rajiv Gandhi Stadium.

Rajiv Gandhi was another "pappu" of his own era.

There is no dearth of intellectuals in Karnataka to import someone unknown to locals. They have worked on education sector in Karnataka. These are the same people screaming Hindi imposition or oppose any bridge or tree named after Savarkar or Shivaji Maharaj. Slavish mentality nevertheless

Classic NDTV, it is embarrassed for Congress that they were caught gossiping rather than the corruption

Didn't NDTV change after Adani took over?

Yes, they did a 180, but not godi media yet. They are right of center now, esp after some of the old NDTV congressi stooges resigned and they have a new team with Shiv Aroor leading.  That tweet was before Adani group took over the channel ownership.

It’s been  5 days in my home town Bengaluru. It’s sad to see the state of my city. Bad roads, potholes , everywhere. Highly unlivable. Maybe only some parts of Mumbai is the only livable city in India. People should protest as it is unacceptable

Now you know why I am always complaining :p:

How are you doing, health wise?

Don’t fret over all this election / political stuff. Governments will keep changing .

Do take good care of your health!

Honestly. War stricken Gaza is better than Bengaluru. But I believe there is a lot of pressure coming from right places.

Depends on area, but main residence areas of Mumbai are pothole free.

In our locality, there is not even a single pothole for 3 kms atleast in  any of the 4 directions in our area.

Especially, our locality, they made a new road few years back and in the very next year they built a proper concrete road again the very next year. Got the whole new drainage pipeline for 700 metres before they built the new concrete road. Just have to call the MLA and he gets work done promptly. Even the MLA who was opponent in one case related to property given for public use being misused, is talking good now as the municipal elections are nearby.  Even sent many chocolates and mithai on Diwali. Bugger needs support to win elections and depends on us to nominate the candidate who will be given seat to contest in elections. You need to pull the right strings to get work done and offcourse you need to have good rapport with politicians to have it done before anything else happens in his area.

Shinde is fast. Once he signed a document in a matter of a day and there was no trouble at all in the proccess. Eknath Khadse is good too. Once you are in touch with the top brass, the MLA's are bypassed and if they are required in process, they know will have yo help such people.

They once invited to attend the Winter session and see how the things happen.

There is no problem whatsoever in our locality. Just a call or face to face discussion with MLA takes care of the issue. The stafd at municupalities who are relucatbt to remove one old file, will pull out 100 files to search for something you need if they know you are in touch with the  who's who. Even one call to officer will ensure the mosquito repellant liquid is sprayed around the locality when required. Everything works as charm. There is no need of protest, few calls and face to face discussions are enough even for major requirments. But yes  there are some major roads in other areas which have potholes for sure.
