Lurker Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Could be anything from a new dish to a style of dressing, shoes, online retailer, CD etc etc. The only requirement is that it impressed you much enough for you to think about reusing it. This weekend I finally bought into the hype of Greek yogurt and came out very very impressed. Even if you buy the Zero-fat version(which I did) it is creamier than regular Dannon version. The taste is excellent with less salty than regular yogurt. The nutritional breakdown is superb with 15 grms of protein(60 calories) out of total 80 calories. Zero fat and excellent cultures to aid in digestion. Excellent for anytime of the day. Anyone can eat it, including lactose intolerant people. Specially recommended for people who are watching their calories. I personally take it during lunch and just before I go to bed(for slow release). Give it a shot. Look here for further info. http://www.fageusa.com/products.html

Ram Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I really experimented with my cooking over the last month. Tried lots of new dishes ( new as in not a totally unknown dish, but something that i havent cooked before) and all came out decently well. I am most proud of the Pav Bhajji that i did last week.

I made Tomato/Pepper soup for the first time ( came out good), Chappati Channa( not bad), Onion Rice ( not bad), Tomato rice ( excellent), Poori ( total disaster) and Pav Bhajji ( good). I'll take it". out 50 bucks god damn.
Brainfade Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Never heard of thiz Fage...would like to try it out...do u get these in organic storez or online only? If you have a Trader Joes in your area, they have it. It's cheap there.
Brainfade Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Anyone can eat it, including lactose intolerant people. Pardon my nitpicking, but lactose intolerant people can eat any yogurt (unless one is severely intolerant). In any kind of yogurt (be it Dannon or Greek), a significant part of the lactose is broken down into lactic acid. Greek yogurt just tastes a lot better (and has a better protein profile).
