Getting to Germany's loss there were multiple reasons but rotation was not the problem. If you remember this happened to Spain and Italy also as coaches defended the title.

 

German problem was a weak backfield and no main strikers. Same old players in 30's were not going to deliver. There were multiple reasons but the one you listed was not the won. Even months before the cup Germany as a team was struggling and te barely beat some weak competition.

 

If Kohli is assured of his spot and captaincy in the world cup today then you don't get it.

 

 

I politely  disagree. This chopping and changing it won't work.There should be atleast 5 to 6 players who should have permanent spots. Dhawan  rohit, but and bumrah should be trusted. And I hate to say this Dhoni is also an automatic selection.
