fineleg
Gambit put it aptly. S#$t in Tests Mediocre in ODIs But a lot of fighting spirit. For Tests, he is totally lacking - should we play him against SA? Dont answer in the euphoria of ODI win - think about Tests and answer. or as COB says, Drop him till the next Aus series Link to comment
Cricketics
let him rest this home series.... he needz to stuff in some good food and be ready for OCtober series,. letz give chawla a go in test along let the legend Bhajji rest.. not drop but rest.. Link to comment
Zakhmi
For test I believe he isn't in full flow...so, better keep him busy in domestic matches during SA tour. For ODIs, he is the King! Link to comment
kumble_rocks
Should have been dropped from tests long ago ... especially after his fantastic performance in the Pak series couple of years ago.. It's beyond me how this guy gets a free pass at the expense of others in both the formats. And yes , he is bound to click one or two games once in a blue moon , that's about it ... and some of the posters here seem to have a selective amnesia and remember only this series , conveniently forgetting that he sucked for long periods in both forms of the game. It's pity that Dravid can be dropped after one bad series in ODI and this dead weight mediocre bowler is given a free pass . Link to comment
vamsi chalapathi
He shouldn't be rested......he lacks in confidence whilst playing a test.................... As this is a home series it will be really beneficial for him.......and after all we need a spin combo but not similar spinners.............. Link to comment
