amitkum's youngster/limited overs obsessing threads merged

It is ridiculous to see people talking of having the same useless oldies in the Test side who have failed gain and again. The youngsters have performed brilliantly in limited opportunities. They destroyed Aussies in Australia (which is the toughest challenge) and won the 20 20 World Cup too while the seniors could not even reach Super 8. It is time for young test team to see results in tests too. Team should be 1. Gambhir 2. Uthappa 3. Badrinath 4. Tiwary 5. Sharma 6. Dhoni 7. Kumar 8. Sreesanth 9. Ishant 10. Harbhajan 11. Murali Karthik

Zaheer and Agarkar's absence is reason for good Indian show Zaheer and Agarkar are absolutely pathetic. As soon as Zaheer left from Melbourne, Indian team performance improved significantly an they dominated Aussies. Trio of RP Singh, Ishant and Sreesanth are brilliant and should be given long runs. Indian cricket suffered long in hands of Zaheer and Agarkar and they should never even be considered again.

Indian Team is playing too few matches and having too may breaks It is sad to see Indian team having so many breaks in between series and matches. A 7 match ODI series against SA could have been easily organized between the breaks whcih would have been great for viewers and more players would have got chances. We have so many grounds but they are underutilized due to lack of matches. Each Domestic Team and the National Team should play atleast 20 Tests, 50 ODI's and 50 20 twenty games. This is the only way to keep the players in good nick and also give chance to more players. The Selectors would also have more options to choose from. Also domestic Cricket should be advertised correctly and marketed properly and it will attract lots of people. I love watching domestic cricket but there is not enough awareness and publicity of the same

Private Leagues like ICL, IPL are a blessing, more leagues should be formed 1. They provide an alternative career to youngsters who cannot make it to the playing 11. 2. It helps improving stadium facilities by getting investments from corporates 3. It provides careers to groundstaff, umpires, commentators and all who love the game 4. More competitive cricket is on for viewers 5. Domestic teams would get chance to tour overseas and improve their skills However number of teams and number of matches should be increased. More Private leagues should be formed

ODI's should consists of 2 innings of 25 overs each 1. We should have 2 innings of 25 overs each which would make the ODI's lot more interesting and attract more crowds. 2. That would be really exciting and would offer a second chance to the batsmen or bowlers who have failed in the first innings. ODI's are becoming very boring follwing the same pattern. The Crowds would love it and that's the only way the game can grow - by getting in more spectators. 3. Broadcasters would get the full 100 overs. We will get fast competitive Cricket. 4. It will attract countires like China and USA which are very importan for the game. 5. For those who argue about techniques and buliding innings, the longer version of the game is always there.

Sreesanth is the greatest and most motivated cricketer ever Sreesanth is the greatest Cricketer ever Sreesanth is only motivated and Committed Indian Cricketer Sreesanth is the only Cricketer playing for the country. He does not even mind losing his match fees for the sake of the country. He is always aggressive, committed and confident unlike some of our selfish, ultradefensive, overcautious and lazy players. He never lets get the opposition on top of him no matter how good they are since he is extremely confident of his own ability. Sreesanth is a excellent role model for youngsters Sreesanth claiming Hayden and Gilchrist is reason for WC Success Media should praise Superb Sreesanth instead of criticising him Indians should get out of their timid and ultracautious ways and be aggressive and confident of their own ability. The media should encourage this type of ultra aggressive attitude. The reason for poor performances in last few years is timid fast bowlers like Srinath and Prasad who themselves looked unmotivated and unfit. We finally have a genius gem in Sreesanth and the media is criticizing him instead of encouraging him to be more aggressive. Indians should learn self respect and aggressiveness from Sreesanth Sreesanth is most committed Cricketer in the world Sreesanth should be presented the Bharat Ratna award Sreesanth is a boon to Indian Cricket Australians trying to suppress World’s Greatest and most committed Cricketer Australians know that he is the only one who can stop them and who can take Indian to no 1. Hence they are trying to demoralise him for silly reason since they know he is the best and the only hurdle in their way. The Australians themselves are involved in sledging so I do not understand why Sreesanth should not be encouraged to do it. Sreesanth should be given Complete Control of Indian Team Sreesanth should be given lifetime captaincy of Indian Cricket Media should encourage Sreesanth to be more aggressive rather than criticizing him.
