Very hard to compare across eras, but it's more likely that Betty Wilson was the greatest female cricketer ever. Imagine a player who could score at an avg of close to 60, take 6+ wkts per match at an avg of 11.8. It seems like fantasy cricket... except that it was actually real. I reckon that Wilson, for her era, was probably like Perry with the bat but a better bowler. In the modern era, I agree that Perry is the best of the age. Where her bowling has gradually decline (although it continues to be deadly on occasion), her batting has really stepped up.
