King Tendulkar Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 You are copying my thread but anyway:D Yes it should be banned. I hate it
suraj Posted March 14, 2008 Author Posted March 14, 2008 You are copying my thread but anyway:D Yes it should be banned. I hate it Credit goes to you for starting the discussion but this Feed was annoying the heck out of me too
King Tendulkar Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 The feed is a nuiscance. Forums are about people, personalities and posters. Not some robot news link!
Guest HariSampath Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Feed does start too many damn threads..I think Feed can be given a warning and be told members have first right of posting threads based on news, but then .....Feed would say he is a member as well :D
kumble_rocks Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Jesus ! Quit whining ... Feed is just a thread starter.
King Tendulkar Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Dammn its 2-2. The feed never gives anyone else the opportunity of starting threads. This bot always gets there first dammn it:angry_smile:
Predator_05 Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Too many feed articles on the main forum. It was better before, with mostly posters starting their own threads. People can read the feeds if they like by visiting that section of the forum and if they want to discuss a Feed article they can do so and someone will move it. But cluttering the main forum with lots of Feed articles isn't doing much good. Some threads are full of nothing BUT feed articles - that's just a waste of space.
fineleg Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Feed can continue. No need to ban feed. Maybe Varun can build some intelligence to automatically (programatically) group feed articles that are related topics into one feed thread.
zubinpepsi Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Feeds can be given a separate section as before..instead of jammin up the main thread.. those who r interested can go there n read them...
Predator_05 Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Feeds can be given a separate section as before..instead of jammin up the main thread.. those who r interested can go there n read them... Exactly. I come here to read original posts by you people - not repetitive, run of the mill articles written by some random journalist on another website. They don't tell me anything i didn't know beforehand. Most of the posters here can generate discussion themselves without the need of some automated bot which scours the net for cricket articles
Mr. Wicket Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Agree, feeds have their own section and anyone interested in scanning news headlines can go to the Cricket Feeds forum. I see no reason why they should be constantly moved here for threads as fascinating and insightful as "Arthur hails Harris" and "'Beating India one of our main goals' - Arthur" where there's precisely fck all in terms of interest/discussion, while more interesting topics (with actual discussion between posters) are being booted to the back.
Desi Cartman Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Feed does start too many damn threads..I think Feed can be given a warning and be told members have first right of posting threads based on news' date=' but then .....Feed would say he is a member as well :D[/quote'] Feed hai hai Gali Gali main shor hai yeh Feed saala chor hai :eyedance:
coverpoint Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 I was about to say 'yeh feed feed kya hai ... yeh feed feed' but too many people seem too passionate about it. I really think it should be in its own section
Desi Cartman Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 ^ great signature coverpoint "Zindagi ka safar Rasgulle se Cham Cham tak " :hysterical:
