The Omen (1976) is among my favorite films. I have not rewatched other Omen films in a long time as they don’t appear to create enough interest.

The First Omen (2024), on my first viewing, did connect with me. It did start off slowly but then created interest as the film progressed, even tying up some of the slow parts that did not appear interesting enough at first.

Let’s see how it plays out in repeated viewings, but on my first viewing, it takes the #2 spot in the series, though a distant #2, behind the original.

"Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile" - 2019 Movie.

I prefer serial killer documentaries in general and I probably could name atleast 7-8 serial killers without thinking much. But this movie was really good. Better than documentary which focuses on what happens after the crime.

Are there any family friendly movies in this genre one could suggest?

The ones which will not make me the recipient of said horrors from rest of the family?

If you are talking about no/marginal nudity, most of the films that I listed would work.

Eyes Without a Face (1960)

The Innocent (1961) - Incest implied iirc

The Horror Express (1972) - may have a scene here and there
The Omen (1976)

Suspiria (1977)

The Shinning (1980) - has a nude scene of a lady taking bath iirc

Misery (1990)

The Ring (2002)

 Creepy (2016)

etc

PS the info is from the top of the mind recall so keep a remote handy!
