Cricketics Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 btw, i am bored of defeating england 5-1 what a trashy performance it was by england that time we atleast did 4-3
Desi Cartman Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 salil, reason is simple.. back in India.. ppl don't know the real worth.. they would want to watch odi's over test.. we ppl, living overseas have greater passion then them.. don't know why cuz we are impure LOL I dont think its about people living overseas its just that only passionate cricket fans join this forum. I think the ratio of people following Tests Vs ODI is still the same among all Indians
Guest Hiten. Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Are you fckin shitting me ???? 2 tests ? We have a fckin revenge to take you god damn stupid money mongers. Rookie English team pooped on our party when they beat India in Mumbai. Mothersunks BCCI, why can't we have 4 test match series alongwith 3 ODI matches ?????
Chandan Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 This is the worst news I've got today!! Just two tests? Is England equivalent to Bangla to Zim or are we equivalent to those country? This is ridiculous!! Absolutely disgusting!!!
graphic23 Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 I am not sure why the BCCI is dropping the tests. I'd rather have 4 or 5 test matches and a 3 match ODI series. I thought most of the exciting cricket happened during the 4 test matches in Australia. Compared to that the CB Series was rather pale.
Vignesh Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I agree with Graphic23.............. Tests are the real deal................
DomainK Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 This is really sad....are really watching the death of cricket as we knew it?
f.b.m Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 5 Tests against a quality nation (OK, England might be an exception) is a minimum
DomainK Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 5 Tests against a quality nation (OK' date=' England might be an exception) is a [b']minimum Nah, England is quite a competitive test side. Would have been real fun to play more tests with them. They would lose anyways.....jellybeans dont win you matches.
Kartikey Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I'm still angry :angry_smile::angry_smile::angry_smile: I would have loved to see Zak against KP, Gangu against Flintoff and Sree against Vaughan for a longer period than 2 effing tests.
King Tendulkar Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 If the BCCI are going to produce pitches like today then maybe its better its only a 2 test series
CC1981 Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Its ironic that some of the very same people dissing the BCCI for their incompetence here wanted a BCCI guy to be head of ICC....... Proof positive of blind patriotism & jingoism 101, folks. :haha::haha:
King Tendulkar Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Not all. No one is saying the BCCI is perfect. They need to improve things as well. But so do CA, ECB etc.
Tapioca Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 If the BCCI are going to produce pitches like today then maybe its better its only a 2 test series One ten day Test would be meaningful.
CC1981 Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Not all. No one is saying the BCCI is perfect. They need to improve things as well. But so do CA' date=' ECB etc.[/quote'] BCCI mentioned in the same breath as CA, ECB etc. is an insult to the latter group...they don't bollox up scheduling, ticketing or player contracts like BCCI does all the time, they are very well managed boards and could teach the incompetent political appointees in BCCI a thing or two about governance.
