suraj Posted March 27, 2008 Share Posted March 27, 2008 I simply fail to understand the West Indians- they are officially the most brainless team now I mean forget the first innings batting performance, despite being under pressure throughout the match they were only 6 overs away from a draw- Gayle was having no problems at all against the SL bowlers but for some reason wanted to give strike to the tailenders. On an easy playing pitch like this single off the last balls of the overs was possible. And then Powell hits this shot- wa she trying to clear the field to get a boundary or what? All he had to do was play out the over or take a single and give strike to Gayle.
