50 over format can’t ever die

Lot of people say t20 js the future. Well that is true. It has been around for a while and we have all these leagues now and even though many 50 over games can look boring, for me 50 format is still the king and one which is enjoyed by most people when International teams play. 

 

Though Test matches are the real deal, it is 50 over format which is perhaps followed the most when Indian team plays.

 

Keeping test cricket aside, t20International  can never kill 50 overs internationals like how people always fear. 2020 just becomes too predictable and seeing 200+ scores in a 20 over format becomes boring at some point. Leagues are fun but Indian team playing in 50 over is more fun to watch than Indian team in t20s. Evenly it hurts more to see when Indian team is doing bad in 50 overs than say in our t20.

T20 has its place and will remain the future but when it comes to international cricket, t20

is just tamasha formt in front of 50 overs. It is the 50 over world cup which we will cherish more than t20 worl cup always. I hope it stays that way too.
