Good knock but still flat wicket. Kohli got more runs than him. The one in 2020/21 was much bigger in stakes. It was going to be humiliating next 20 days after Kohli's arrival to India. The importance of that knock by Rahane sets up everything. Given our poor batting lineup( remove Rahane hundred and look at India's total even Jadeja would have probably stayed not out at 20-30 then), there was a chance of us getting bundled out at low score too and then bat last.
