Temujin Khaghan Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 That guy joshi, did he come on dravid's recommendation or what. I bet even i can hit him for a sixer. Maybe lalit modi added him for the tourno so that batsmen can hit more sixers... :haha:
Temujin Khaghan Posted April 30, 2008 Author Posted April 30, 2008 see... no one even wants to discuss this topic. ;)
bigdhoni7 Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 he has no business playing in the ipl especially since one of the main reasons for this league is to find new prospects for the indian team.
fineleg Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 B'lore team selection has made sure they are not gonna be competitive in the IPL.
f.b.m Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 True. The IPL boffins might have thought that it would be "entertaining" to have him around. Short boundaries + Pie throwers: Entertainment! (According to the guys who decide this stuff, atleast)
OriginalCopy Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Hey, if you have lions in the circus, you gotta have goats too!
Guest HariSampath Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Sunil Joshi was Dravid's selection, just to ensure he gets a "benefit" purse when he retires. This was the entire idea, and I just cannot imagine how RD selected him in the 11 today !!. I saw posters in the last home game of BRC with even Bangalore fans disgusted with him "drop Budda Joshi' and also " BRC is best test team"
PaiN_KiLLeR Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Bangalore & Mumbai are languishing at the bottom of the table thanks to their brilliant team selection.
youngindia Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 not as if he was great shakes in 1996 or 2000. he was a born loser and i was relived to see him dropped finally. look at the final stages of that chennai test vs pak when sachin made 135. no heart or fight. just surrendered tamely and walked away. i was disgusted to see such a mediocre bunch playing in those days.
Mandrake Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 You guys are mean...grandpa Joshi wants to make some quick dough and sip cocktails for the rest of his life and you have a problem:haha: Charity begins at home for RD
