on the issue of T20 and national teams, Chennai is the ONLY team that has won the national t20, so dont even get into argument on this format...we beat Mumbai, Punjab etc ALL with your top players

on other hand, when game is in Delhi or somewhere, no one from chennai bothers to travel to support India. u might find a hindi banner in Chennai, u would never see a person carrying tamil text banner in Delhi or mumbai or any other parts of India. goes on to show, Northiz and all visit chepauk everytime there is a game @ chepauk.. they are the really sporting crowd

haha tics thats the dumbest explanation ever..u mean to say v chennaiites need to travel to delhi to show how sporting v are..and u keep hearing a lot of stuff..but have u been to chepauk before..no..they how can u even say that..there are north indians in the ground coz they come to chennai to study and they just form a minuscule lot..so next time wen u see a match at chepauk look at the percentage of north indians..and its not that u ppl drive down to chennai to see the match its coz of the compulsion of the ppl staying there..and they know that chennai ppl are the best crowd in the country and enjoy the cricket with us..man u and ur weird ideas :haha::hysterical:

on the issue of T20 and national teams' date=' Chennai is the ONLY team that has won the national t20, so dont even get into argument on this format...we beat Mumbai, Punjab etc ALL with your top players[/quote'] There's only been 1 T20 Cup domestically in which TN beat Punjab. So, that argument doesn't hold because in any one ONLY one team could've won the T20 cup since the tournament was only played ONCE.

Total cr@p...less than 5% of the Chepauk crowd is Non chennai, the only regular visitors are from Andhra and Chennaiites from Bangalore. And you will NEVER find a Hindi banner in Chepauk....and naturally Chennaiites in other cities dont use Tamil banners if at all they use anything, its in English. I have been seeing games in Chepauk since 1973 and I know. Also, most of the "dumb banners" like "sachin is god, cricket is religion"..."thank you STAR TV" etc are almost always in Mumbai, Delhi, never in Chennai...we dont have shiv sena digging up cricket pitches or cricket matches being threatened with a ban for cheerleaders etc...all thats in other cities But why should Chennaiites travel to Delhi or Mumbai, they are already there in large numbers.

If we won it a second time, then we can say, 'India is the ONLY team to win it twice' Your original statement doesn't make sense because no one has had an opportunity to regain the Cup. You could've said, TN is also the winner of the T20 Domestic Cup, and so... <>. That would've made more sense.

In case you missed it, both are facts....so let me rephrase it. Chennai are National T20 Champs ( and this time next year we will also be able to say We are the ONLY side to win national t20 twice :D)

Chennai whooped EVERY other side in India in the National T20 championships when all the sides were playing full strength with all their stars, Punjab with Yuvi, Mumbai with Sachin, Kolkatta with Saurav etc. So, even ignoring the Yuvis, Dhonis, Aussies, safies of IPL..purely as a city team in T20, Chennai, with no big stars are the champs , having beaten all others. Any arguments ??

Why didn't they pick the same team to compete in IPL then ? Maybe that win was a fluke and your thinking tank didn't have the balls to compete with the same team vs 'big stars'? :hysterical:

No Arguments.- just a question. How is that relevant to the discussion where Chennaiwas beaten by Royals, and instead of supporting your team you came up with the excuse that Dhoni's goat curse and that he's now a bad and one-dimensional captain? Yeah, Mumbai has not performed well by any means but at least we, as supporters, aren't saying its because Sachin killed an innocent chicken and ate its biryani last night :P Nor did we criticize Bhajji and Pollock for their captaincy when the team was losing, and suddenly hail them as the best captains in the world now that the team's won 2 games. :P You, on the other hand, are saying something very similar.

Half that team went to ICL...and Chennai won the ICL T20...half that side is still here and we will win the IPL too. Now why doesnt your "star" not play in IPL ? and keeos checking groin injury every one hour ? LOl...groin injuries are expected to become better any morning, any hour ? like toothache or temparature ? :hysterical:...and what happened to all "stars" in other teams...like Bangalore, Mumbai, Punjab etc...how come they lose to Chennai in IPL, National, ICL and every where ??
