Anyone see Bad sport: Hansie Cronje episode on Netflix?

Watched it last night.

 

2 conclusions:

 

Cronje was a once in a life time talent and one of the greatest captains of all time. A true innovator and visionary who changed the game of cricket. As a 90’s cricket fan, hands down the best captain I ever saw. Rate him over Steve Waugh and Ponting tactically and as a leader.

 

Cronje was a crook and he was money hungry. One hell of a shady guy whose unfortunate demise somehow saved his legacy or would have been forgiven eventually like Akram, Azhar etc but would be remembered less fondly than in his prime. Also don’t think he revealed everything to the Kings commission.

 

Anyway a very intriguing and well made episode if you are a cricket fan.
