Might need the mods help now to add Konqueror to the poll. Could one of the kind mods please add Konqueror to the list. Thanks
graphic23 Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 I've been using Firefox since it was called Pheonix. But I've been disappointed with their latest releases for Linux. Epiphany has been working pretty well but I feel that its a bit of a burden to use compared to Firefox because it doesn't have as many features (plus I probably ought to blame the GNOME devs for coming up some crappy standards as far as UI goes). I like Konqueror as a browser but prefer GNOME to KDE so I haven't been using that too much (plus it has problems with JS - as much as I hate it, several websites use it). I've tried Opera out a few times but I never got along with it well. Needless to say that I don't use IE or Netscape because I hate MS products - they consider their users as their testers and Netscape is too bloated and very obsolete.

graphic23 Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 I feel Epiphany and Konqueror are more smooth. Firefox - not so much; perhaps because Firefox is not native to the GNU platform but still I feel they can make it better.

And nowadays (~2-3 years), I use FF only when new version is released....otherwise always Chrome.
