fineleg Posted May 17, 2008 Share Posted May 17, 2008 All this will eventually cause the already overpaid cricketers to be paid even more (as multiple leagues compete for a single player), causing them to retire in a hurry. I dont reckon, cricketers will any longer be motivated to bounce back from career threatening injuries to play Test cricket. Such days are gone. With easy money to be made in IPL & APL, with just one month worth of workload paying off a career worth salary, Test cricket is almost certain to be impacted in a big big way. Bumper, Well said.
